Artist Statement
The art I create is born from the desire to share beauty with the viewer. Artistic creation allows for the expression of aspects related to femininity and the exploration of one's emotional sphere. Imaging beauty through painting is a form of spiritual practice for me, and the satisfaction derived from the positive effect on the viewer inspires me to continue working.
In creating, I try to present a whole range of emotions. By juxtaposing female portraits with elements of nature (similar to changing seasons), I experience both my own transformation cycles and synchronize with the world around me every day. I try to see harmony in both obvious beauty and what is transient, as evidenced in the constantly renewing nature.
I would like the communion with my art to be as calming as contact with nature, and the states of the female interior I present to become a mirror of self-reflection for the viewer.
